Welcome to Women’s Ministry!

2010 - A new year, new possibilities, new challenges, new beginnings. We've all stood at the door of a new year and made resolutions to change some things in our lives. You know the ones, lose weight, exercise more, get organized, finish an unfinished project, be more disciplined with our prayer and devotion time and the list goes on. If you are like me and so many others you have more than once fallen short of reaching your new year's goals. While it can be frustrating and disappointing one thing is sure and that is the Lord never gives up on us. He knows our hearts, He sees our potential and He stands ready to equip us to accomplish His purpose in our lives.

I invite you to join us in Women's Ministry as we begin a journey in 2010. A journey that will take us closer to the heart of God. Traveling requires some preparation, where are we going?, what will the weather be like?, do I know anyone who has traveled this way before?, what do I need to pack? Similar to our earthly travels taking a spiritual journey poses some of the same questions. 1. Where are we going? We are going to journey closer to the heart of God. 2. How do we get there? Through Bible study and events that enrich our lives and deepen our faith. 3. What will the weather be like? Some days will be sunny and beautiful others will be dark and stormy. 4. Do I know anyone who has traveled this way before? You are guaranteed to come along side someone who has been exactly where you are and they will offer help and valuable information for the journey. 5. What do I need to pack? You'll need the Word, a heart that desires a closer walk with Him and fellowship with other women.

We look forward to growing, serving and glorifying Christ together with you in 2010.
